Sweet North Shore Engagement

The North Shore in Minnesota

Ah, the incredible North Shore-it has to be one of the best spots for an engagement session. Definitely one of my favorite places in Minnesota. The parks along Lake Superior have never looked so good!

When Erin and Chris brought up exploring some of our favorite spots on the coast of Lake Superior we were SO stoked! We ran around from far up north (about 150 miles south of the Canadian border) resulting in adventures to Tettegouche, Black Beach, and Gooseberry before heading back down to Duluth to snuggle up with some coffee. Each spot is so gorgeous-I’m so freaking happy that we were able to visit so many spots in northern MN during their shoot!

Erin and Chris traveled up from the twin cities to explore with us on the most gorgeous Sunday afternoon for their sweet North Shore engagement session. The beaches were all still super quiet, so we had most of them to ourselves. They were totally down for anything (our kind of couple) and even kicked off their shoes and dipping their toes in FREEZING Lake Superior at Black Beach!

We can’t even wait to see these two again in October! The most beautiful venue (Paikka) is waiting for them in St. Paul on their big day- all the most amazing industrial vibes, and lots of thick greens nearby. It’s such a perfect mix of our favorite things the Twin Cities have to offer. Yup, it’s going to be magic and we can barely contain ourselves! We’ll probably be dreaming about it until the day comes.
