Glamis Sand Dunes
Okay, I know this looks like an incredible Moroccam dune elopement in the Sahara desert right? Nope! These two cuties modeled for me (Carly sporting gorgeous A&Be Bridal dresses) in the incredible Glamis Dunes. In this post you’ll follow these sweethearts along the dunes in the best elopement outfits!
When Carly and Germain reached out to us to shoot their wedding in Wisconsin and I found out they were from San Diego, I KNEW they had to model for this project. Carly was looking for her own wedding dress when we came out, so our shoot became the weirdest episode of Say Yes to the Dress with her slipping into these incredible gowns- and Germain’s reaction was freaking adorable.
Our Adventure
We’d been in the sand dunes for only an hour, and I’d fallen in love. Glamis made it look as if these two ventured out into Moroccan desert! We spent so much time trying to find a place to park, because of all of the ATV’S and campers. With the traffic we hit the sand just as the sun was coming down, but I don’t think we could’ve picked a better time to get out there. Watching the sun change the color of the dunes during this elopement styled shoot was unforgettable.
The Shoot
Carly absolutely rocked these A&Be gowns, she became an actual goddess out there in the desert. These two absolutely lit up together, so they made every second amazing. It was the craziest bridal shoot ever with sand flying everywhere, but it was SO worth it! The Glamis sand dunes have to be one of the coolest locations to elope!
